حَدَّثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمد بْنِ السَّكَنِ قَال حَدَّثنا حبان بن هلال قَال حَدَّثنا عَبد العزيز بن مسلم قَال حَدَّثنا صُبَيْحٌ أَبُو الْعَلاءِ عَن ابْنِ بُرَيدة عَن أَبيهِ رَضِي الله عنه قَال سَمعتُ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم يَقْرَأُ فِي الصَّلاةِ لَوْ أَنَّ لابْنِ آدَمَ وَادِيًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ لابْتَغَى إِلَيْهِ ثَانِيًا وَلَوْ أُعْطَى ثَانِيًا لابْتَغَى إِلَيْهِ ثَالِثًا ولاَ يَمْلأُ جَوْفَ ابْنِ آدَمَ إلاَّ التُّرَابُ وَيَتُوبُ اللَّهُ عَلَى مَنْ تَابَوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ إلاَّ عَبد الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَن أَبِي الْعَلاءِ وَهَذَا مِمَّا كَانَ يُقْرَأُ فَنُسِخَ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم يَقْرَأُ فِي الصَّلاةِ لَوْ أَنَّ لابْنِ آدَمَ وَادِيًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ لابْتَغَى إِلَيْهِ ثَانِيًا وَلَوْ أُعْطَى ثَانِيًا لابْتَغَى إِلَيْهِ ثَالِثًا ولاَ يَمْلأُ جَوْفَ ابْنِ آدَمَ إلاَّ التُّرَابُ وَيَتُوبُ اللَّهُ عَلَى مَنْ تَابَوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ إلاَّ عَبد الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَن أَبِي الْعَلاءِ وَهَذَا مِمَّا كَانَ يُقْرَأُ فَنُسِخَ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yahya ibn Muhammad ibn as-Sakan narrated to us, he said: Hibban ibn Hilal narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Aziz ibn Muslim narrated to us, he said: Subayh Abu al-Ala narrated to us from Ibn Burayda from his father (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) reciting in prayer: "If the son of Adam had a valley of gold, he would seek a second one. And if he were given a second, he would seek a third. Nothing fills the belly of the son of Adam except dust. And Allah accepts the repentance of whoever repents." This hadith, we do not know anyone who narrated it except Abd al-Aziz ibn Muslim from Abu al-Ala. This is from what used to be recited and was then abrogated.
