حَدَّثنا يَحْيَى بن داود قَال حَدَّثنا وَكِيعُ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ عَنْ دَلْهَمِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَن جُبَير بْنِ عَبد اللَّهِ عَن ابْنِ بُرَيدة عَن أَبيهِ رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّجَاشِيَّ أَهْدَى إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم خُفَّيْنِ أَسْوَدَيْنِ سَاذَجَيْنِ فَلَبِسَهُمَا وَكان يمسح عليهما رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم خُفَّيْنِ أَسْوَدَيْنِ سَاذَجَيْنِ فَلَبِسَهُمَا وَكان يمسح عليهما
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yahya ibn Dawud narrated to us, he said: Waki' ibn al-Jarrah narrated to us from Dalham ibn Salih from Jubayr ibn Abdullah from Ibn Burayda from his father (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Negus (king of Abyssinia) gifted the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) two plain black leather socks, and he wore them and used to wipe over them.
