أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى أنبأ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُؤَمَّلِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا النُّفَيْلِيُّ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ أَعْيَنَ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أنَّهُ قَالَ فِي أَهْلِ الذِّمَّةِ لَهُمْ مَا أَسْلَمُوا عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَمْوَالِهِمْ وَعَبِيدِهِمْ وَدِيَارِهِمْ وَأَرْضِهِمْ وَمَاشِيَتِهِمْ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِمْ فِيهِ إِلَّا صَدَقَةٌ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Zakariyya Yahya ibn Ibrahim ibn Muhammad ibn Yahya informed us, Abu al-Qasim Ali ibn al-Mu'ammal informed us, Muhammad ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, an-Nufayli narrated to us, Musa ibn A'yan narrated to us from Layth from Alqama ibn Marthad from Sulayman ibn Burayda from his father from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he said regarding the people of dhimma (protected non-Muslims): "They retain what they embraced Islam upon of their wealth, slaves, homes, lands, and livestock. Nothing is upon them in that except the charity (zakat)."
