حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ نَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ قَالَ نَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا ضَحَّى اشْتَرَى كَبْشَيْنِ سَمِينَيْنِ أَقْرَنَيْنِ أَمْلَحَيْنِ فَإِذَا صَلَّى وَخَطَبَ أَتَى بِأَحَدِهِمَا وَهُوَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ فَيَذْبَحُهُ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ هَذَا عَنْ أُمَّتِي جَمِيعًا مِنْ شَهِدَ لَكَ بِالتَّوْحِيدِ وَشَهِدَ لِي بِالْبَلَاغِ ثُمَّ يُؤْتَى بِالْآخَرِ فَيَذْبَحُهُ وَيَقُولُ هَذَا عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ فَيُطْعِمُهُمَا جَمِيعًا الْمَسَاكِينَ وَيَأْكُلُ هُوَ وَأَهْلُهُ مِنْهُمَا قَالَ فَلَبِثْنَا سِنَينًا لَيْسَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي هَاشِمٍ يُضَحِّي قَدْ كَفَاهُ اللَّهُ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ عليه السلام الْمَؤُنَةَ وَالْغُرْمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا ضَحَّى اشْتَرَى كَبْشَيْنِ سَمِينَيْنِ أَقْرَنَيْنِ أَمْلَحَيْنِ فَإِذَا صَلَّى وَخَطَبَ أَتَى بِأَحَدِهِمَا وَهُوَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ فَيَذْبَحُهُ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ هَذَا عَنْ أُمَّتِي جَمِيعًا مِنْ شَهِدَ لَكَ بِالتَّوْحِيدِ وَشَهِدَ لِي بِالْبَلَاغِ ثُمَّ يُؤْتَى بِالْآخَرِ فَيَذْبَحُهُ وَيَقُولُ هَذَا عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ فَيُطْعِمُهُمَا جَمِيعًا الْمَسَاكِينَ وَيَأْكُلُ هُوَ وَأَهْلُهُ مِنْهُمَا قَالَ فَلَبِثْنَا سِنَينًا لَيْسَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي هَاشِمٍ يُضَحِّي قَدْ كَفَاهُ اللَّهُ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ عليه السلام الْمَؤُنَةَ وَالْغُرْمَ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, he said: Abu Amir narrated to us, he said: Zuhayr ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Aqil, from Ali ibn Husayn, from Abu Rafi' the freedman of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offered sacrifice, he would buy two fat, horned, black-and-white rams. When he had prayed and delivered the sermon, he would bring one of them while still in his prayer place and slaughter it, then say: "O Allah, this is on behalf of my entire Ummah, whoever bore witness to Your Oneness and bore witness to my conveyance." Then the other would be brought and he would slaughter it, saying: "This is on behalf of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad." He would feed the poor from both of them, and he and his family would eat from them. He said: We lived for years without any man from Banu Hashim offering sacrifice, as Allah had sufficed them through the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) from the expense and burden.
