Ibrahim ibn Hani' narrated to us, he said: Yahya ibn 'Abdullah al-Harrani narrated to us, he said: Safwan ibn 'Amr narrated to us, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Jubayr, from Fadalah ibn 'Ubayd, may Allah be well pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, went on the expedition of Tabuk. He said: The riding animals suffered greatly from exhaustion. He said: This was complained about to him, and he saw men walking. He said: The Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, looked at a narrow pass where the people were gathered, and he stood there while the people passed by. He said: He blew on them and then said: "O Allah, carry them in Your cause, for indeed You carry the strong and the weak, the fresh and the dry, on land and sea." He said: I was amazed at the change, for we did not enter Madinah except that the animals were pulling at their reins.
