حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ قَالَ نَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ قَالَ نَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ عَنْ قُطْبَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْفَجْرِ وَالنَّخْلَ بَاسِقَاتٍ لَهَا طَلْعٌ نَضِيدٌ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا يَرْوِيهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ إِلَّا قُطْبَةُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ وَلَا نَعْلَمُ يَرْوِي عَنْ قُطْبَةَ إِلَّا زِيَادُ بْنُ عِلَاقَةَ وَزَادَ أَبُو الْمُنْذِرِ عَنِ الْمَسْعُودِيِّ وَبُسُوقُهَا طُولُهَا وَإِنَّمَا هُوَ مِنْ كَلَامِ قُطْبَةَ فَأَدْخَلَهُ فِي الرَّفْعِ وَهُمْ فِيهِ فِي الْفَجْرِ وَالنَّخْلَ بَاسِقَاتٍ لَهَا طَلْعٌ نَضِيدٌ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا يَرْوِيهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ إِلَّا قُطْبَةُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ وَلَا نَعْلَمُ يَرْوِي عَنْ قُطْبَةَ إِلَّا زِيَادُ بْنُ عِلَاقَةَ وَزَادَ أَبُو الْمُنْذِرِ عَنِ الْمَسْعُودِيِّ وَبُسُوقُهَا طُولُهَا وَإِنَّمَا هُوَ مِنْ كَلَامِ قُطْبَةَ فَأَدْخَلَهُ فِي الرَّفْعِ وَهُمْ فِيهِ

Yahya ibn Hakim narrated to us, he said: Abdullah ibn Raja' narrated to us, he said: Isra'il narrated to us, from Ziyad ibn Ilaqah, from Qutbah, may Allah be well pleased with him, that he heard the Prophet, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, reciting in the Fajr prayer: "And tall palm trees having fruit arranged in layers" [Quran 50:10]. This hadith - we do not know anyone who narrates it from the Prophet, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, with this wording except Qutbah ibn Malik, and we do not know anyone who narrated from Qutbah except Ziyad ibn Ilaqah. Abu al-Mundhir added from al-Mas'udi 'and their height means their tallness,' but this is from the speech of Qutbah, which he included in the elevated narration, and they erred in that.
