حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو قَالَ نَا يَحْيَى قَالَ نَا عِمْرَانُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ نَا أَبُو رَجَاءٍ الْعُطَارِدِيُّ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ تَمَتَّعْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَمْ يَنْزِلْ فِينَا كِتَابٌ وَلَمْ يَنْهَ عَنْهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ فِيهَا بِرَأْيهِ مَا قَالَ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ قَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ مِنْ وجُوهٍ وَإِسْنَادُ هَذَا عَنْ عِمْرَانَ حَسَنٌ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَمْ يَنْزِلْ فِينَا كِتَابٌ وَلَمْ يَنْهَ عَنْهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ فِيهَا بِرَأْيهِ مَا قَالَ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ قَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ مِنْ وجُوهٍ وَإِسْنَادُ هَذَا عَنْ عِمْرَانَ حَسَنٌ

Abu Kamil narrated to us, he said: Zuhayr narrated to us, he said: Ziyad ibn Ilaqah narrated to us from Jarir (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: 'Whoever revives a good practice in Islam will have its reward and the reward of all those who act upon it after him, without any decrease in their rewards. And whoever revives an evil practice in Islam will bear its burden and the burden of all those who act upon it after him, without any decrease in their burdens.'
