أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بَابَاهَ عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَخْبَرَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ وَيَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بَابَاهَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جُبَيْرَ بْنَ مُطْعِمٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ يَا بَنِي عَبْدِ مَنَافٍ لَأَعْرِفَنَّ مَا مَنَعْتُمْ وَقَالَ فِي حَدِيثِ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بَابَاهَ عَنْ جُبَيْرٍ لَا تَمْنَعُوا طَائِفًا يَطُوفُ بِهَذَا الْبَيْتِ أَيَّةَ سَاعَةٍ شَاءَ مِنْ لَيْلٍ أَوْ نَهَارٍ وَيُصَلِّي وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ وَلَا نَعْلَمُ يُرْوَى عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ إِلَّا حَدِيثًا ضَعِيفًا لَا يَثْبُتُ مِنْ جِهَةِ النَّقْلِ وَفِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ دَلَالَةٌ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ رَخَّصَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ التَّطَوُّعَ بَعْدَ الْفَجْرِ وَبَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ بِمَكَّةَ خَاصَّةً دُونَ غَيْرِهَا

Abu Kurayb narrated to us, he said: Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, he said: Isma'il ibn Muslim narrated to us from Amr ibn Dinar from Nafi' ibn Jubayr ibn Mut'im from his father from the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). And Ahmad ibn Abdah narrated to us, he said: Sufyan ibn Uyaynah informed us from Abu al-Zubayr from Abdullah ibn Babah from Jubayr ibn Mut'im from the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). And Yusuf ibn Musa narrated to us, he said: Jarir and Ya'la ibn Ubayd narrated to us from Muhammad ibn Ishaq from Abdullah ibn Abi Najih from Abdullah ibn Babah who said: I heard Jubayr ibn Mut'im (may Allah be well pleased with him) say: I heard the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) say: 'O Banu Abd Manaf, let me not find that you have prevented...' And in the hadith of Abu al-Zubayr from Abdullah ibn Babah from Jubayr: 'Do not prevent anyone who circumambulates this House from doing so at any hour they wish, by night or by day, and from praying.' This hadith — we do not know it to be narrated from the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) except through this chain, and we do not know it to be narrated from Jubayr ibn Mut'im except through a weak hadith that is not established from the standpoint of transmission. In this hadith there is evidence from the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) that he permitted voluntary prayer after Fajr and after Asr in Makkah specifically, excluding other places.
