حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُزَيْعٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَكِيمِ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَفْضُلُ صَلَاةُ الْجَمِيعِ عَلَى صَلَاةِ الرَّجُلِ وَحْدَهُ خَمْسَةً وَعِشْرِينَ صَلَاةً وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي لَيْلَى لَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنْ مُعَاذٍ وَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ عُمَرَ

Muhammad ibn 'Abdullah ibn Buzi' narrated to us, he said: 'Abd al-Hakim ibn Mansur al-Wasiti informed us, from 'Abd al-Malik ibn 'Umayr, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla, from Mu'adh ibn Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'The congregational prayer exceeds the prayer of a man praying alone by twenty-five prayers in merit.'
