حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَظِيمِ قَالَ نا النَّضْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْجُرَشِيُّ قَالَ نا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ نا سِمَاكٌ أَبُو زُمَيْلٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ لَمَّا فُتِحَتِ الْمَدَائِنُ أَقْبَلَ النَّاسُ عَلَى الدُّنْيَا وَأَقْبَلْتُ عَلَى عُمَرَ فَكَانَ عَامَّةُ حَدِيثِهِ عَنْ عُمَرَ قَالَ لَمَّا فُتِحَتِ الْمَدَائِنُ أَقْبَلَ النَّاسُ عَلَى الدُّنْيَا وَأَقْبَلْتُ عَلَى عُمَرَ فَكَانَ عَامَّةُ حَدِيثِهِ عَنْ عُمَرَ

Al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Azim narrated to us saying: An-Nadr ibn Muhammad al-Jurashi narrated to us saying: Ikrimah ibn Ammar narrated to us saying: Simak Abu Zumayl narrated to us from Ibn Abbas who said: When al-Mada'in (Ctesiphon) was conquered, the people turned to the worldly life, and I turned to Umar, and most of his hadith was from Umar.
