حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ نا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَغْرَاءَ قَالَ نا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْفُقَيْمِيُّ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّهَا سَتَكُونُ أُمَرَاءُ بَعْدِي يَقُولُونَ مَا لَا يَفْعَلُونَ يَفْعَلُونَ مَا لَا يُؤْمَرُونَ فَمَنْ جَاهَدَهُمْ بِيَدِهِ فَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَمَنْ جَاهَدَهُمْ بِلِسَانِهِ فَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَمَنْ جَاهَدَهُمْ بِقَلْبِهِ فَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ لَا إِيمَانَ بَعْدَهُ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ إِلَّا بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَا نَعْلَمُ رَوَى عَطَاءُ بْنُ يَسَارٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ غَيْرَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ وَلَا نَعْلَمُهُ سَمِعَ مِنْهُ وَإِنْ كَانَ قَدِيمًا وَلَا نَعْلَمُ أَسْنَدَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ إِلَّا هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّهَا سَتَكُونُ أُمَرَاءُ بَعْدِي يَقُولُونَ مَا لَا يَفْعَلُونَ يَفْعَلُونَ مَا لَا يُؤْمَرُونَ فَمَنْ جَاهَدَهُمْ بِيَدِهِ فَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَمَنْ جَاهَدَهُمْ بِلِسَانِهِ فَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَمَنْ جَاهَدَهُمْ بِقَلْبِهِ فَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ لَا إِيمَانَ بَعْدَهُ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ إِلَّا بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَا نَعْلَمُ رَوَى عَطَاءُ بْنُ يَسَارٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ غَيْرَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ وَلَا نَعْلَمُهُ سَمِعَ مِنْهُ وَإِنْ كَانَ قَدِيمًا وَلَا نَعْلَمُ أَسْنَدَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ إِلَّا هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ

Yusuf ibn Musa narrated to us, he stated: Abd ar-Rahman ibn Maghra' narrated to us, he stated: Al-Hasan ibn Amr al-Fuqaymi narrated to us from Mu'awiyah ibn Ishaq from Ata' ibn Yasar from Hadrat Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be well pleased with him) from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), he stated: «Verily there will be rulers after me who say what they do not do, and do what they are not commanded. Whoever strives against them with his hand, he is a believer. Whoever strives against them with his tongue, he is a believer. Whoever strives against them with his heart, he is a believer — there is no faith after that.» This hadith — we do not know it to be narrated with this wording from Abdullah except with this chain of transmission, and we do not know that Ata' ibn Yasar narrated from Abdullah other than this hadith, and we do not know that he heard from him even though he was of old. We do not know that al-Hasan ibn Amr narrated with attribution from Mu'awiyah ibn Ishaq except this hadith.
