أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو ذَرٍّ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْقَاسِمِ الْمُذَكِّرُ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الْقَاضِي ثنا أَبُو عَمْرٍو أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ الْمُسْتَمْلِي ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي الْحَجَّاجِ ثنا حَاتِمُ بْنُ أَبِي صَغِيرَةَ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ ؓ قَالَتْ دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَاسْتَسْقَى فَشَرِبَ فَنَاوَلَنِي سُؤْرَهُ وَأَنَا صَائِمَةٌ فَشَرِبْتُ سُؤْرَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَعَلْتُ شَيْئًا لَا أَدْرِي أَصَبْتُ أَمْ أَخْطَأْتُ نَاوَلْتَنِي سُؤْرَكَ وَأَنَا صَائِمَةٌ فَكَرِهْتُ أَنْ أَرُدَّ سُؤْرَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَمُتَطَوِّعَةٌ أَمْ قَضَاءٌ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ؟ قُلْتُ مُتَطَوِّعَةٌ قَالَ الْمُتَطَوِّعُ بِالْخِيَارِ إِنْ شَاءَ صَامَ وَإِنْ شَاءَ أَفْطَرَ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) entered upon me and asked for a drink, and he drank. Then he handed me his leftover and I was fasting, so I drank the leftover of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I did something and I do not know if I did right or wrong — you gave me your leftover while I was fasting, and I disliked refusing the leftover of the Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'Is it voluntary or making up for Ramadan?' I said: 'Voluntary.' He said: 'The voluntary fasting person has a choice — if he wishes he fasts, and if he wishes he breaks his fast.'
