أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مِلْحَانَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ثنا اللَّيْثُ حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلٌ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ عُمَرَ تَصَدَّقَ بِفَرَسٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَوَجَدَهُ يُبَاعُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَأَرَادَ أَنْ يَشْتَرِيَهُ ثُمَّ أَتَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَاسْتَأْمَرَهُ فِي ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تَعُدْ فِي صَدَقَتِكَ فَبِذَلِكَ كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَتْرُكُ أَنْ يَبْتَاعَ شَيْئًا تَصَدَّقَ بِهِ أَوْ بَرَّ بِهِ إِلَّا جَعَلَهُ صَدَقَةً
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ali ibn Ahmad ibn Abdan informed us... from Abdullah ibn Umar who used to narrate that Umar donated a horse in the way of Allah, then found it being sold later and wanted to buy it. He then came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and consulted him about it. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to him: 'Do not take back your charity.' Because of this, Ibn Umar would refrain from buying anything he had given in charity or as a gift, unless he made it a charity again.
