وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ اتَّخَذَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَاتَمًا مِنْ وَرِقٍ فَكَانَ فِي يَدِهِ ثُمَّ كَانَ فِي يَدِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ ثُمَّ كَانَ فِي يَدِ عُمَرَ ثُمَّ كَانَ فِي يَدِ عُثْمَانَ ؓ حَتَّى وَقَعَ مِنْهُ فِي بِئْرِ أَرِيسَ نَقْشُهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللهِ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us: Abu Bakr ibn Ishaq al-Faqih narrated to us: Isma'il ibn Qutayba narrated to us: Yahya ibn Yahya narrated to us: Abdullah ibn Numayr narrated from Ubaydullah ibn Umar, from Nafi', from Ibn Umar who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) made a ring of silver which was on his hand, then on the hand of Abu Bakr after him, then on the hand of Umar, then on the hand of Uthman (may Allah be pleased with them) until it fell from him into the well of Aris. Its inscription was: Muhammad, Messenger of Allah.
