أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا كَانَ وَاقِفًا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ عَلَى نَاقَةٍ لَهُ بِعَرَفَةَ فَوَقَصَتْهُ أَوْ قَالَ أَقْصَعَتْهُ فَمَاتَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَكَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْنِ أَوْ قَالَ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ وَلَا تُحَنِّطُوهُ وَلَا تُخَمِّرُوا رَأْسَهُ؛ فَإِنَّ اللهَ يَبْعَثُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُلَبِّي
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibn Mas'ud said: 'I visited the Prophet (peace be upon him) while he was ill with fever. I said: "O Messenger of Allah, you have a severe fever." He said: "Yes, I suffer fever equal to that of two men among you." I said: "Is that because you will have double the reward?" He said: "Yes, it is so. No Muslim is afflicted with any harm — even the pricking of a thorn — except that Allah expiates his sins thereby, as a tree sheds its leaves."'
