أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ أنبأ أَبُو سَهْلِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الْقَطَّانُ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْحَرْبِيُّ ثنا عَفَّانُ ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنِ الْمِنْهَالِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ سَكَنٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ {وَأَنْزَلْنَا مِنَ الْمُعْصِرَاتِ مَاءً ثَجَّاجًا} [النبأ 14] قَالَ يَبْعَثُ اللهُ الرِّيحَ فَتَحْمِلُ الْمَاءَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ فَتَمُرُّ فِي السَّحَابِ حَتَّى تَدُرَّ كَمَا تَدُرُّ اللِّقْحَةُ ثُمَّ تُبْعَثُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ أَمْثَالَ الْعَزَالِي فَتُصَرُّ بِهِ الرِّيَاحُ؛ فَيَنْزِلُ مُتَفَرِّقًا
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu al-Husayn ibn al-Fadl al-Qattan narrated to us... from al-A'mash, from al-Minhal ibn Amr, from Qays ibn Sakan, from Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, regarding the verse {And We sent down from the rain clouds pouring water} [78:14], he said: 'Allah sends the wind and it carries water from the sky, then passes through the clouds until they flow like a she-camel giving milk, then it is sent from the sky like pouring spouts, and the winds drive it so that it falls scattered.'
