أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو صَالِحِ بْنُ أَبِي طَاهِرٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ أنبأ جَدِّي يَحْيَى بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الْقَاضِي ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ قَالَا ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ قَالَتْ خَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَدَخَلْتُ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ ؓ وَهِيَ تُصَلِّي فَقُلْتُ مَا شَأْنُ النَّاسِ يُصَلُّونَ فَأَشَارَتْ بِرَأْسِهَا إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فَقُلْتُ آيَةٌ؟ قَالَتْ نَعَمْ فَأَطَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْقِيَامَ جِدًّا حَتَّى تَجَلَّانِي الْغَشْيُ فَأَخَذْتُ قِرْبَةً مِنْ مَاءٍ إِلَى جَنْبِي فَجَعَلْتُ أَصُبُّ عَلَى رَأْسِي فَانْصَرَفَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَقَدْ تَجَلَّتِ الشَّمْسُ فَخَطَبَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ النَّاسَ فَحَمِدَ اللهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَمَّا بَعْدُ مَا مِنْ شَيْءٍ تُوعَدُونَهُ لَمْ أَكُنْ رَأَيْتُهُ إِلَّا قَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ فِي مَقَامِي هَذَا حَتَّى الْجَنَّةَ وَالنَّارَ وَإِنَّهُ قَدْ أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ أَنَّكُمْ تُفْتَنُونَ فِي الْقُبُورِ قَرِيبًا أَوْ مِثْلَ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ لَا أَدْرِي أِيَّ ذَلِكَ قَالَتْ أَسْمَاءُ يُؤْتَى أَحَدُكُمْ فَيُقَالُ لَهُ مَا عِلْمُكَ بِهَذَا الرَّجُلِ؟ فَأَمَّا الْمُؤْمِنُ أَوِ الْمُوقِنُ فَيَقُولُ هُوَ مُحَمَّدٌ هُوَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ جَاءَنَا بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَالْهُدَى فَأَجَبْنَا وَاتَّبَعْنَا ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ فَيُقَالُ لَهُ قَدْ كُنَّا نَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ كُنْتَ تُؤْمِنُ بِهِ فَنَمْ صَالِحًا وَأَمَّا الْمُنَافِقُ أَوِ الْمُرْتَابُ فَيَقُولُ لَا أَدْرِي أِيَّ ذَلِكَ قَالَتْ أَسْمَاءُ فَيَقُولُ لَا أَدْرِي سَمِعْتُ النَّاسَ يَقُولُونَ شَيْئًا فَقُلْتُ قَالَ أَبُو الْفَضْلِ وَهَذَا لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ الْحُسَيْنِ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Salih ibn Abi Tahir al-Anbari narrated to us... from Asma' bint Abi Bakr who said: The sun eclipsed during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). I went to Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) while she was praying and said: 'What is the matter with the people praying?' She pointed with her head toward the sky. I said: 'A sign?' She said: 'Yes.' The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prolonged the standing greatly until I was overcome by fainting. I took a water skin beside me and began pouring water on my head. The Messenger of Allah finished and the sun had cleared. He addressed the people, praised Allah and extolled Him, then said: 'As for what follows - everything you have been warned of that I had not seen, I have seen in this standing of mine, including Paradise and Hellfire. It has been revealed to me that you will be tried in your graves close to - or similar to - the trial of the Antichrist, I do not know which.' Asma' said: 'One of you will be brought and asked: What is your knowledge of this man? The believer or the certain one will say: He is Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah. He came to us with clear proofs and guidance, so we responded and followed - three times. He will be told: We knew you believed in him, so sleep righteously. As for the hypocrite or the doubter, he will say: I do not know - I heard people saying something and I said it.' Abu al-Fadl said: This is the wording of al-Husayn's hadith.
