أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ أنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ أنبأ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ ثنا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ خَرَجَ ابْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ فَلَمْ يَرَهُمْ يُكَبِّرُونَ فَقَالَ مَا لَهُمْ لَا يُكَبِّرُونَ أَمَا وَاللهِ فَعَلُوا ذَلِكَ فَقَدْ رَأَيْتَنَا فِي الْعَسْكَرِ مَا يُرَى طَرَفَاهُ فَيُكَبِّرُ الرَّجُلُ فَيُكَبِّرُ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ حَتَّى يَرْتَجَّ الْعَسْكَرُ تَكْبِيرًا وَإِنَّ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُمْ كَمَا بَيْنَ الْأَرْضِ السُّف��لَى إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الْعُلْيَا
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Zakariyya ibn Abi Ishaq informed us... from Tamim ibn Salamah who said: Ibn al-Zubayr went out on the Day of Sacrifice and did not see them making takbir. He said: Why are they not making takbir? By Allah, if they did so, I remember when we were in the army camp, its two ends could not be seen. A man would make takbir, then the one next to him would make takbir, until the whole camp would reverberate with takbir. The distance between you and them is like the distance between the lowest earth and the highest heaven.
