أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا أَبُو الْفَيَّاضِ بَكَّارُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الزِّمَّانِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَخِي جُوَيْرِيَةَ ثنا جُوَيْرِيَةُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ رَأَى حُلَّةً سِيَرَاءَ مِنْ حَرِيرٍ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لَوِ ابْتَعْتَ هَذِهِ الْحُلَّةَ فَلَبِسْتَهَا لِلْوفُودِ وَلِيَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ فَقَالَ إِنَّمَا يَلْبَسُ هَذِهِ مَنْ لَا خَلَاقَ لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ وَبِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بَعَثَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ إِلَى عُمَرَ بِحُلَّةٍ سِيَرَاءَ مِنْ حَرِيرٍ كَسَاهَا إِيَّاهُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ كَسَوْتَنِيهَا وَقَدْ سَمِعْتُكَ تَقُولُ فِيهَا مَا قُلْتُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّمَا بَعَثْتُ بِهَا إِلَيْكَ لِتَبِيعَهَا أَوْ لِتَكْسُوَهَا بَعْضَ نِسَائِكَ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu al-Hasan Ali ibn Ahmad ibn Abdan informed us... from Nafi', that Abdullah ibn Umar told him that Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) saw a striped silk garment and said: O Messenger of Allah, would you buy this garment and wear it for delegations and on Fridays? He said: Only one who has no share in the Hereafter wears this. With the same chain of narration: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) later sent Umar a striped silk garment. He said: O Messenger of Allah, you clothed me with it while I heard you say what you said about it? The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: I sent it to you so that you may sell it or clothe some of your women with it.
