كَمَا أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ مَاتَتْ شَاةٌ لِسَوْدَةَ بِنْتِ زَمْعَةَ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَاتَتْ فُلَانَةُ تَعْنِي الشَّاةَ؟ قَالَ فَلَوْلَا أَخَذْتُمْ مَسْكَهَا قَالَتْ نَأْخُذُ مَسْكَ شَاةٍ قَدْ مَاتَتْ؟ فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّمَا قَالَ اللهُ تَعَالَى {قُلْ لَا أَجِدُ فِيمَا أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ مُحَرَّمًا عَلَى طَاعِمٍ يَطْعَمُهُ إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ مَيْتَةً أَوْ دَمًا مَسْفُوحًا أَوْ لَحْمَ خِنْزِيرٍ} وَإِنَّكُمْ لَا تَطْعَمُونَهُ إِنَّمَا تَدْبُغُونَهُ فَتَنْتَفِعُونَ بِهِ فَأَرْسَلْتُ إِلَيْهَا فَسَلَخَتْ مَسْكَهَا فَدَبَغَتْهُ فَاتَّخَذَتْ مِنْهُ قِرْبَةً حَتَّى تَخَرَّقَتْ عِنْدَهَا 57 وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ عَبْدَانَ أنا أَحْمَدُ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ الْقَاضِي ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَمُسَدَّدٌ وَالْعَبَّاسُ النَّرْسِيُّ أَنَّ أَبَا عَوَانَةَ حَدَّثَهُمْ بِإِسْنَادِهِ وَمَعْنَاهُ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibn Abbas narrated: 'A sheep of Sawdah bint Zam'ah died. She said: "O Messenger of Allah, such-and-such — meaning the sheep — has died." He said: "Why did you not take its skin?" She said: "Should we take the skin of a sheep that has died?" The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Allah the Most High only said: 'Say: I do not find in what has been revealed to me anything forbidden to eat except dead animals, flowing blood, or the flesh of swine.' You are not eating it; you are only tanning it and making use of it." So she sent for it, had its skin removed and tanned, and made a water-skin from it that she used until it wore out.'
