أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنبا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ ثنا ابْنُ بِشْرٍ عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ شَيْخًا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُولُ كَانَ فِي كَلَامِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ تَرْتِيلٌ أَوْ تَرْسِيلٌ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu 'Ali al-Rudhbari informed us... from Abu Dawud... from Muhammad ibn al-'Ala'... from Ibn Bishr, from Mis'ar who said: 'I heard a shaykh in the mosque saying: I heard Jabir ibn 'Abdullah say: There was tartil (measured and clear articulation) or tarsil (measured pace) in the speech of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him).'
