أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ الْحُرْفِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ ثنا حَمْزَةُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْعَلَاءِ حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَالِمٍ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الزُّبَيْدِيُّ ثنا رَاشِدُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ أَنَّ أَبَا رَاشِدٍ حَدَّثَهُ يَرُدُّهُ إِلَى عَائِشَةَ ؓ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَدْ أَكَلَ الْبَصَلَ فِي الْقِدْرِ مَشْوِيًّا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَمُوتَ بِجُمُعَةٍ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abdullah ibn Zaid narrated: "When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) ordered a bell to be made to summon people to prayer, a man came to me in my sleep carrying a bell. I said: 'O servant of Allah, will you sell that bell?' He said: 'What will you do with it?' I said: 'We will call people to prayer.' He said: 'Shall I show you something better?' He taught me the adhan." In the morning, Abdullah went to the Prophet and told him. The Prophet said: "It is a true vision, Allah willing. Go with Bilal and teach him what you saw, for his voice is louder." When Umar heard it, he came running and said: "By the One Who sent you with the truth, I saw the same as him!" The Prophet said: "All praise is due to Allah."
