أنبأ أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ أنبأ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ وَثنا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ قَالَ قُرِئَ عَلَى ابْنِ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَكَ إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ التَّيْمِيُّ عَنْ عَمِّهِ عِيسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ مُطِيعِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ قَالَ صَلَّى عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ بِالنَّاسِ الصُّبْحَ ثُمَّ رَكِبْتُ أَنَا وَهُوَ إِلَى أَرْضِنَا فَلَمَّا جَلَسَ عَلَى رَبِيعٍ مِنْهَا يَتَوَضَّأُ مِنْهَا فَإِذَا عَلَى فَخِذِهِ احْتِلَامٌ فَقَالَ هَذَا الِاحْتِلَامُ عَلَى فَخِذِي لَمْ أَشْعُرْ بِهِ فَح��كَّهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ صِرْتُ وَاللهِ حِينَ أَكَلْتُ الدَّسَمَ وَدَخَلْتُ فِي السِّنِّ يَخْرُجُ مِنِّي مَا لَا أَشْعُرُ بِهِ وَقَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ فَمَا أَشْعُرُ بِهِ وَاغْتَسَلَ ثُمَّ أَعَادَ صَلَاةَ الصُّبْحِ وَلَمْ يَأْمُرْ أَحَدًا بِإِعَادَةِ الصَّلَاةِ هَذَا الِاحْتِلَامُ عَلَى فَخِذِي لَمْ أَشْعُرْ بِهِ فَحَكَّهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ صِرْتُ وَاللهِ حِينَ أَكَلْتُ الدَّسَمَ وَدَخَلْتُ فِي السِّنِّ يَخْرُجُ مِنِّي مَا لَا أَشْعُرُ بِهِ وَقَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ فَمَا أَشْعُرُ بِهِ وَاغْتَسَلَ ثُمَّ أَعَادَ صَلَاةَ الصُّبْحِ وَلَمْ يَأْمُرْ أَحَدًا بِإِعَادَةِ الصَّلَاةِ

Abu Zakariyya ibn Abi Ishaq and Abu Bakr ibn al-Hasan said: Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub informed us, from Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Abd al-Hakam, from Ibn Wahb. And Bahr ibn Nasr said: It was read to Ibn Wahb that Ishaq ibn Yahya ibn Talhah ibn Ubaydullah al-Taymi informed you, from his uncle Isa ibn Talhah, from Muti' ibn al-Aswad who said: Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) led the people in the morning prayer, then he and I rode to our land. When he sat by a stream to perform ablution from it, he noticed seminal discharge on his thigh. He said: "This is seminal discharge on my thigh that I was not aware of." He scratched it and then said: "By Allah, since I started eating rich food and grew old, things come out of me without my awareness." He performed the ritual bath and then repeated the morning prayer, but he did not order anyone to repeat their prayer.
