أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ الْفَضْلِ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ الْمَيْمُونِيُّ ثنا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ ثنا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَبَّادِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ الْعَابِدِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ قَالَ صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الصُّبْحَ بِمَكَّةَ فَاسْتَفْتَحَ سُورَةَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ حَتَّى جَاءَ ذِكْرُ مُوسَى وَهَارُونَ أَوْ جَاءَ ذِكْرُ عِيسَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ يَشُك��ُ أَوِ اخْتَلَفُوا عَلَيْهِ أَخَذَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ سَعْلَةٌ فَحَذَفَ فَرَكَعَ وَابْنُ السَّائِبِ حَاضِرٌ ذَلِكَ أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ حَجَّاجِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَغَيْرِهِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ كَمَا مَضَى

Muhammad ibn Abdullah al-Hafiz and Muhammad ibn Musa ibn al-Fadl said: Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub narrated to us, from Abd al-Malik ibn Abd al-Hamid al-Maymuni, from Rawh ibn Ubadah, from Ibn Jurayj who said: I heard Muhammad ibn Abbad ibn Ja'far; Abu Salamah ibn Sufyan, Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As, and Abdullah ibn al-Musayyab al-Abidi informed me, from Abdullah ibn al-Sa'ib who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) led us in the morning prayer in Makkah and began with Surah al-Mu'minun until the mention of Musa and Harun came, or the mention of Isa came - Muhammad ibn Abbad was uncertain, or they differed about it - the Prophet (peace be upon him) was seized by a cough, so he cut short and bowed. Ibn al-Sa'ib was present for that. Muslim narrated it in his Sahih from the hadith of Hajjaj ibn Muhammad and others from Ibn Jurayj, as previously mentioned.
