الترجمة الإنجليزية
Sa'id ibn al-As recited aloud in Dhuhr or Asr - Dawud was unsure - and the people said 'SubhanAllah,' but he continued. When he finished the prayer, he said: 'In every prayer there is recitation, and what made me do that was not opposing the Sunnah, but I recited forgetfully and disliked interrupting the recitation.' It is mentioned from Qatadah that Anas ibn Malik recited aloud in Dhuhr and Asr and did not prostrate [for forgetfulness]. And from Khabbab ibn al-Aratt similarly. It has also been narrated regarding this from Umar and Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with them.
