الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: If one of you has doubt in his prayer and does not know whether he prayed three or four, let him pray a rak'ah and prostrate two prostrations while sitting before the salam. If the rak'ah he prayed was the fifth, they make it even. If it was the fourth, the two prostrations are a humiliation for Shaytan. We have also narrated it from the hadith of Sulayman ibn Bilal and Hisham ibn Sa'd from Zayd ibn Aslam from Ata' ibn Yasar from Abu Sa'id in a connected chain. It was also narrated from the hadith of Malik in a connected chain.
