أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْأَسَدِيُّ بِهَمْدَانَ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ثنا آدَمُ ثنا شُعْبَةُ ثنا أَنَسُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ إِنِّي لَا أَسْتَطِيعُ الصَّلَاةَ مَعَكَ قَالَ وَكَانَ رَجُلًا ضَخْمًا فَصَنَعَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ طَعَامًا فَدَعَاهُ إِلَى مَنْزِلِهِ وَبَسَطَ لَهُ حَصِيرًا وَنَضَحَ طَرَفَ الْحَصِيرِ فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ آلِ الْجَارُودِ وَلِأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي الضُّحَى؟ فَقَالَ مَا رَأَيْتُهُ صَلَّاهَا إِلَّا يَوْمَئِذٍ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Anas ibn Malik said: A man from the Ansar said to the Prophet (peace be upon him): I am unable to pray with you. He was a large man. So he prepared food for the Prophet (peace be upon him) and invited him to his house, and spread a mat for him and sprinkled the end of the mat with water. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prayed two rak'ahs on it. A man from the family of al-Jarud said to Anas: Did the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to pray the Duha prayer? He said: I never saw him pray it except on that day.
