وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ حَيَّانَ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ عَامِرٍ ثنا الْوَلِيدُ هُوَ ابْنُ مُسْلِمٍ أَخْبَرَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ وَأَبَا الدَّرْدَاءِ ؓ قَالَا مَا أَدْرَكْتَ مِنْ آخِرِ صَلَاةِ الْإِمَامِ فَاجْعَلْهُ أَوَّلَ صَلَاتِكَ قَالَ الْوَلِيدُ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِأَبِي عَمْرٍو يَعْنِي الْأَوْزَاعِيَّ وَسَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ فَقَالَا مَا أَدْرَكْتَ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْإِمَامِ أَوَّلُ صَلَاتِكَ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Bakr ibn al-Harith al-Faqih informed us, Abu Muhammad ibn Hayyan informed us, Ibrahim ibn Muhammad ibn al-Hasan narrated to us, Musa ibn Amir narrated to us, al-Walid — he is Ibn Muslim — informed me, Isma'il informed me from Rabi'ah that Umar ibn al-Khattab and Abu al-Darda (may Allah be pleased with them) said: 'What you catch of the end of the imam's prayer, consider it the beginning of your prayer.' Al-Walid said: I mentioned that to Abu Amr — meaning al-Awza'i — and Sa'id ibn Abd al-Aziz, and they both said: 'What you catch of the imam's prayer is the beginning of your prayer.'
