Bahz ibn Hakim narrated from his father from his grandfather that he asked the Prophet (peace be upon him): "From whom should we conceal our awrah and to whom may we expose it?" He said: "Guard your awrah except from your wife or what your right hand possesses." He said: "What if people are in each other's company?" He said: "If you can make sure no one sees it, then do so." He said: "What if one is alone?" He said: "Allah is more deserving of your modesty than people."
