أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ خِدَاشٍ ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ هَارُونَ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَرَأَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ {بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ} [الفاتحة 1] فَعَدَّهَا آيَةً {الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ} [الفاتحة 2] آيَتَيْنِ {الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ} [الفاتحة 1] ثَلَاثَ آيَاتٍ {مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ} أَرْبَعَ آيَاتٍ وَقَالَ هَكَذَا {إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ} [الفاتحة 5] وَجَمَعَ خَمْسَ أَصَابِعِهِ ورَوَاهُ ابْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ فِي كِتَابِهِ عَنِ الصَّغَانِيِّ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Umm Salamah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) recited in prayer: "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful" [al-Fatihah 1], counting it as a verse; "All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds" [al-Fatihah 2] as two verses; "The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful" as three verses; "Master of the Day of Judgment" as four verses; and he said like this: "You alone we worship and You alone we ask for help" [al-Fatihah 5], gathering five fingers. Ibn Khuzaymah narrated it from al-Saghani.
