From Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) as a marfu' report, but its narrator is abandoned (matruk) and should not be mentioned. Ali ibn Ahmad ibn Abdan informed us, Ahmad ibn Ubayd al-Saffar informed us, Tamtam narrated to us, Abu Salamah narrated to us. And Hisham ibn Ali al-Sirafi narrated to us, Abu Salamah al-Minqari narrated to us. And Abu Ali al-Rudhbari informed us, Muhammad ibn Bakr informed us, Abu Dawud narrated to us, Musa ibn Isma'il, who is Abu Salamah, narrated to us saying: Abu Bakrah Bakkar ibn Abd al-Aziz informed me saying: My paternal aunt, who is Kabshah bint Abi Bakrah, informed me that her father used to forbid his family from cupping on Tuesday, claiming from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) that Tuesday is the day of blood and there is an hour in it when bleeding does not stop. This is the wording of Abu Dawud's hadith, and the narration of Ibn Abdan is similar in meaning. The prohibition in it is mawquf (stopped at the companion), not marfu' (attributed to the Prophet), and its chain is not strong. And Allah knows best.
