أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي أنبأ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ دُحَيْمٍ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْقَاضِي ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ ؓ أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ كُلُّ غُلَامٍ رَهِينَةٌ بِعَقِيقَتِهِ تُذْبَحُ عَنْهُ يَوْمَ سَابِعِهِ وَيُحْلَقُ رَأْسُهُ وَيُسَمَّى 19265 أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي قَالَا ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ كَامِلٍ الْقَاضِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الرَّقَاشِيُّ ثنا قُرَيْشُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ ثنا حَبِيبُ بْنُ الشَّهِيدِ قَالَ قَالَ لِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ سَلِ الْحَسَنَ مِمَّنْ سَمِعَ حَدِيثَ الْعَقِيقَةِ؟ فَسَأَلْتُهُ فَقَالَ مِنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ ؓ

Abu Bakr Ahmad ibn al-Hasan al-Qadi informed us > Abu Ja'far Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Duhaym al-Shaybani > Ibrahim ibn Ishaq al-Qadi > Ja'far ibn Awn > Sa'id > Qatadah > al-Hasan > Samurah ibn Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Every boy is pledged by his aqiqah; it is slaughtered on his behalf on the seventh day, his head is shaved, and he is named.' Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz and Abu Zakariyya ibn Abi Ishaq al-Muzakki informed us through chains that Habib ibn al-Shahid said: Muhammad ibn Sirin told me: Ask al-Hasan from whom he heard the hadith of aqiqah. So I asked him, and he said: From Samurah ibn Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him).
