أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ ثنا سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ وَعَلْقَمَةَ قَالَا أَتَيْنَا عَبْدَ اللهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ فِي دَارِهِ فَقَالَ أَصَلَّى هَؤُلَاءِ خَلْفَكُمْ؟ قُلْنَا لَا فَقَالَ قُومُوا فَصَلُّوا فَلَمْ يَأْمُرْنَا بِأَذَانٍ وَلَا إِقَامَةٍ ثُمَّ اقْتَضَا صَلَاتَهُ بِهِمَا وَرَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي كُرَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِي مُعَاوِيَةَ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "We are the last (nation) but the first on the Day of Resurrection, even though they were given the Scripture before us and we were given it after them. This is their day (Friday) about which they differed, and Allah guided us to it. The people follow us: the Jews tomorrow (Saturday) and the Christians the day after (Sunday)."
