أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو الْأَدِيبُ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْإِسْمَاعِيلِيُّ أَخْبَرَنِي الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا ثنا ابْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ثنا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُبَيْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ يُخْبِرُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ ؓ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ جَارِيَةً لَهُمْ كَانَتْ تَرْعَى بِسَلْعٍ فَرَأَتْ شَاةً مِنْ غَنَمِهَا بِهَا مَوْتٌ فَكَسَرَتْ حَجَرًا فَذَبَحَتْهَا بِهِ فَقَالَ لِأَهْلِهِ لَا تَأْكُلُوا مِنْهَا حَتَّى آتِيَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَأَسْأَلَهُ أَوْ قَالَ أُرْسِلَ إِلَيْهِ مَنْ يَسْأَلُهُ فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَسَأَلَهُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ أَوْ رَسُولُهُ فَقَالَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ إِنَّ جَارِيَةً لَنَا كَانَتْ تَرْعَى بِسَلْعٍ فَأَبْصَرَتْ شَاةً مِنْ غَنَمِهَا بِهَا مَوْتٌ فَكَسَرَتْ حَجَرًا فَذَبَحَتْهَا بِهِ فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِأَكْلِهَا
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Amr al-Adib informed us, Abu Bakr al-Isma'ili informed us, al-Qasim ibn Zakariyya informed me, Ibn Abd al-A'la narrated to us, al-Mu'tamir ibn Sulayman narrated to us who said: I heard Ubayd Allah ibn Umar from Nafi' who heard Ibn Ka'b ibn Malik informing Abdullah ibn Umar from his father (may Allah be pleased with him) who informed him that a slave girl of theirs was herding at Sal' (a mountain near Madinah) and she saw a sheep from their flock about to die. She broke a stone and slaughtered it with it. He told his family: "Do not eat from it until I go to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and ask him" - or he said: "I will send someone to ask him." So he went to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked him about it - or his messenger did - and said: "O Prophet of Allah, a slave girl of ours was herding at Sal' and she noticed a sheep from our flock about to die. She broke a stone and slaughtered it with it." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered him to eat it.
