Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, Isma'il ibn Ahmad informed us, Muhammad ibn al-Hasan ibn Qutaybah informed us, Harmalah informed us, Ibn Wahb informed us, Haywah informed us, Abu Sakhr informed me from Ibn Qusayt from Urwah ibn al-Zubayr from Aisha, the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered a horned ram that walked in blackness, looked in blackness, and knelt in blackness. It was brought to him so he could sacrifice it, and he mentioned the hadith.
