أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ بِطُوسَ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ مَحْمَوَيْهِ ال��عَسْكَرِيُّ ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْقَلَانِسِيُّ ثنا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ ثنا شُعْبَةُ ثنا زُبَيْدٌ الْأَيَامِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الشَّعْبِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ ؓ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ أَوَّلَ مَا نَبْدَأُ بِهِ فِي يَوْمِنَا هَذَا أَنْ نُصَلِّيَ ثُمَّ نَرْجِعَ فَنَنْحَرَ فَمَنْ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ فَقَدْ أَصَابَ السُّنَّةَ وَمَنْ نَحَرَ قَبْلَ الصَّلَاةِ فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ لَحْمٌ قَدَّمَهُ لِأَهْلِهِ لَيْسَ مِنَ النُّسُكِ فِي شَيْءٍ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ يُقَالُ لَهُ أَبُو بُرْدَةَ بْنُ نِيَارٍ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي قَدْ ذَبَحْتُ وَعِنْدِي جَذَعَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنْ مُسِنَّةٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ اجْعَلْهَا مَكَانَهَا وَلَنْ تُوَفِّيَ أَوْ لَنْ تُجْزِيَ عَنْ أَحَدٍ بَعْدَكَ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Ali al-Husayn ibn Muhammad al-Rudhbari in Tus informed us, Abu Bakr ibn Mahmawayh al-Askari narrated to us, Ja'far ibn Muhammad al-Qalanisi narrated to us, Adam ibn Abi Iyas narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, Zubayd al-Ayami narrated to us, he said: I heard al-Sha'bi narrating from al-Bara' ibn Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The first thing we begin with on this day of ours is to pray, then we return and sacrifice. Whoever does that has followed the Sunnah. Whoever slaughtered before the prayer, it is merely meat he prepared for his family and is not part of the rite at all." A man from the Ansar called Abu Burdah ibn Niyar said: "O Messenger of Allah, I have already slaughtered, and I have a young sheep that is better than a mature one." He said: "Slaughter it in its place, but it will not suffice - or will not be sufficient - for anyone after you."
