أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ وَأَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ قَالُوا أنبأ أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ أنبأ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ حَيْوَةَ بْنَ شُرَيْحٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ سِنَانَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ يَقُولُ سَأَلْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ؓ عَنِ الْجَرَادِ فَقَالَ خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى خَيْبَرَ وَمَعَ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ قَفْعَةٌ فِيهَا جَرَادٌ قَدِ احْتَقَبَهَا وَرَاءَهُ فَيَرُدُّ يَدَهُ وَرَاءَهُ فَيَأْخُذُ مِنْهَا فَيُنَاوِلُنَا وَيَأْكُلُ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَنْظُرُ قَالَ أَنَسٌ ثُمَّ رَجَعْنَا إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ فَكُنَّا نُؤْتَى بِهِ فَنَشْتَرِيهِ وَنُكْثِرُ وَنُجَفِّفُهُ فَوْقَ الْأَجَاجِيرِ فَنَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ زَمَانًا
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to say in the morning: We have reached the morning and the dominion belongs to Allah. Praise belongs to Allah. There is no god but Allah alone with no partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He has power over all things. O Allah, I ask You for the good of this day and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this day and the evil of what follows it. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from laziness, evil of old age, the torment of the grave, and the trials of life and death.
