أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْمِهْرَجَانِيُّ الْعَدْلُ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْمُزَكِّي ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ثنا مَالِكٌ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي حَكِيمٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ يَقُولُ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّهُ كَانَ مِنْ آخِرِ مَا تَكَلَّمَ بِهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ قَالَ قَاتَلَ اللهُ الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى اتَّخَذُوا قُبُورَ أَنْبِيَائِهِمْ مَسَاجِدَ لَا يَبْقَيَنَّ دِينَانِ بِأَرْضِ الْعَرَبِ

Abu Ahmad 'Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn al-Hasan al-Mihrajani the just informed us, Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Ja'far al-Muzakki narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, Yahya ibn Bukayr narrated to us, Malik narrated to us from Isma'il ibn Abi Hakim, who heard 'Umar ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz say: It has reached me that among the last things the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said was: "May Allah fight the Jews and the Christians — they took the graves of their prophets as places of worship. Let not two religions remain in the land of the Arabs."
