أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ وَأَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ بُرْهَانَ وَأَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ قَالُوا ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَرَفَةَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ رُفَيْعٍ عَنْ حَرَامِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ كَتَبَ إِلَيْنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ أَنْ أَدِّبُوا الْخَيْلَ وَلَا يُرْفَعَنَّ بَيْنَ ظَهْرَانَيْكُمُ الصَّلِيبُ وَلَا يُجَاوِرَنَّكُمُ الْخَنَازِيرُ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu 'Ali al-Rudhbari, Abu 'Abdullah al-Husayn ibn 'Umar ibn Burhan, and Abu al-Husayn ibn al-Fadl al-Qattan informed us, they said: Isma'il ibn Muhammad al-Saffar narrated to us, al-Hasan ibn 'Arafah narrated to us, 'Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us from Ma'mar, from Zayd ibn Rufay', from Haram ibn Mu'awiyah, who said: 'Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) wrote to us: "Train the horses, and let not the cross be raised among you, and let not pigs be kept near you."
