وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ السِّقَاءِ وَأَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْمُقْرِيُّ قَالَا أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ؓ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ خَلَّفَ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ وَأُسَامَةَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ عَلَى رُقَيَّةَ ابْنَةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَيَّامَ بَدْرٍ فَجَاءَ زَيْدُ بْنُ حَارِثَةَ ؓ عَلَى الْعَضْبَاءِ نَاقَةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بِالْبِشَارَةِ قَالَ أُسَامَةُ فَسَمِعْتُ الْهَيْعَةَ فَخَرَجْتُ فَإِذَا زَيْدٌ قَدْ جَاءَ بِالْبِشَارَةِ فَوَاللهِ مَا صَدَّقْتُ حَتَّى رَأَيْنَا الْأُسَارَى فَضَرَبَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِعُثْمَانَ ؓ بِسَهْمِهِ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu al-Hasan Ali ibn Muhammad ibn al-Siqqa' and Abu al-Hasan al-Muqri informed us > al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn Ishaq > Yusuf ibn Ya'qub > Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr > Amr ibn Asim > Hammad ibn Salamah > Hisham ibn Urwah > his father > Usamah ibn Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (peace be upon him) left behind Uthman ibn Affan and Usamah ibn Zayd to care for Ruqayyah, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), during the Battle of Badr. Then Zayd ibn Harithah (may Allah be pleased with him) came on al-Adba', the she-camel of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), bringing the good news. Usamah said: I heard the commotion and went out, and there was Zayd bringing the good news. By Allah, I did not believe it until we saw the captives. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) gave Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) his share.
