أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ الْإِيَادِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الشَّافِعِيُّ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْحَرْبِيُّ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا أَبُو عُمَيْسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ أَتَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَيْنٌ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ وَهُوَ فِي سَفَرٍ قَالَ فَجَلَسَ فَتَحَدَّثَ عِنْدَ أَصْحَابِهِ ثُمَّ انْسَلَّ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ اطْلُبُوهُ فَاقْتُلُوهُ قَالَ فَسَبَقْتُهُمْ إِلَيْهِ فَقَتَلْتُهُ وَأَخَذْتُ سَلَبَهُ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu al-Qasim Ali ibn Muhammad ibn Ya'qub al-Iyadi informed us in Baghdad, from Abu Bakr al-Shafi'i, from Ishaq ibn al-Hasan al-Harbi, from Abu Nu'aym, from Abu Umays, from Ibn Salama ibn al-Akwa', from his father who said: A spy from the polytheists came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) while he was on a journey. He sat and conversed among his companions, then slipped away. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Pursue him and kill him. I reached him before the others, killed him, and took his spoils.
