حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ثنا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ مُضَرِّبٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ ؓ أَنَّهُ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَقْسِمَ أَهْلَ السَّوَادِ بَيْنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَأَمَرَ بِهِمْ أَنْ يُحْصَوْا فَوَجَدُوا الرَّجُلَ الْمُسْلِمَ يُصِيبُهُ ثَلَاثَةٌ مِنَ الْفَلَّاحِينَ يَعْنِي الْعُلُوجَ فَشَاوَرَ أَصْحَابَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ ؓ دَعْهُمْ يَكُونُونَ مَادَّةً لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ فَبَعَثَ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ حُنَيْفٍ فَوَضَعَ عَلَيْهِمْ ثَمَانِيَةً وَأَرْبَعِينَ وَأَرْبَعَةً وَعِشْرِينَ وَاثْنَيْ عَشَرَ أَنْ يُحْصَوْا فَوَجَدُوا الرَّجُلَ الْمُسْلِمَ يُصِيبُهُ ثَلَاثَةٌ مِنَ الْفَلَّاحِينَ يَعْنِي الْعُلُوجَ فَشَاوَرَ أَصْحَابَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ ؓ دَعْهُمْ يَكُونُونَ مَادَّةً لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ فَبَعَثَ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ حُنَيْفٍ فَوَضَعَ عَلَيْهِمْ ثَمَانِيَةً وَأَرْبَعِينَ وَأَرْبَعَةً وَعِشْرِينَ وَاثْنَيْ عَشَرَ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yahya narrated to us from Isra'il, from Abu Ishaq, from Haritha ibn Mudarrib, from Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that he intended to divide the people of al-Sawad among the Muslims and ordered them to be counted. They found that each Muslim man would receive three of the farmers, meaning the non-Arab laborers. He consulted the Companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him) about that, and Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Leave them to be a source of revenue for the Muslims. So he sent Uthman ibn Hunayf, who imposed upon them forty-eight, twenty-four, and twelve.
