أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْحَافِظُ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّ ابْنَ حَرْشَفٍ الْأَزْدِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ مَوْلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ كُنَّا نَأْكُلُ الْجُزُرَ فِي الْغَزْو وَلَا نَقْسِمُهُ حَتَّى إِنْ كُنَّا لَنَرْجِعُ إِلَى رِحَالِنَا وَأَخْرِجَتُنَا مِنْهُ مُمْلَأَةٌ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Salman al-Farisi narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Guarding for a day and a night is better than fasting for a month and standing in prayer throughout its nights. If he dies, his ongoing deeds that he used to perform continue, his provision continues, and he is safe from the questioners of the grave."
