أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الْمِهْرِجَانِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا ابْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ثنا مَالِكٌ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنْ جَلْدِ الْعَبْدِ فِي الْخَمْرِ فَقَالَ بَلَغَنَا أَنَّ عَلَيْهِ نِصْفَ جَلْدِ الْحُرِّ وَأَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ وَعُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ وَعَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ ؓ قَدْ جَلَدُوا عَبِيدَهُمْ نِصْفَ حَدِّ الْحُرِّ فِي الْخَمْرِ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Al-Zuhri was asked about flogging a slave for drinking and said: "It has reached us that the slave receives half the punishment of the free person, and that Umar ibn al-Khattab, Uthman ibn Affan, and Abdullah ibn Umar all flogged their slaves half the punishment of the free person for drinking."
