قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ أنبأ سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ كَانَ بَدْءُ الصَّلَاةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ بِالْغَدَاةِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بِالْعَشِيِّ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Amr ibn Salamah narrated: "When my people returned from the Prophet (peace be upon him), they said that the Prophet said: 'Let the one who has the most Quran lead you in prayer.' They looked and found no one who knew more Quran than I did — I was six or seven years old — so they put me forward to lead them."
