أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو صَالِحِ بْنُ أَبِي طَاهِرٍ أنا جَدِّي يَحْيَى بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الْقَاضِي ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ الْكِلَابِيُّ أنا مَرْوَانَ الْفَزَارِيُّ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ ثنا قَيْسُ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَرِيرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ كُنَّا جُلُوسًا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ إِذْ نَظَرَ إِلَى الْقَمَرِ لَيْلَةَ الْبَدْرِ فقَالَ إِنَّكُمْ سَتَرَوْنَ رَبَّكُمْ كَمَا تَرَوْنَ هَذَا الْقَمَرَ لَا تُضَامُّونَ فِي رُؤْيَتِهِ فَإِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَنْ لَا تُغْلَبُوا عَلَى صَلَاةٍ قَالَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ يَقُولُ لَا تَفُوتَنَّكُمْ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ غُرُوبِهَا يَعْنِي الْعَصْرَ وَالْفَجْرَ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ جَرِيرٌ فَسَبَّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ غُرُوبِهَا
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari narrated: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'The one who should lead the prayer is the one who has the most knowledge of the Book of Allah. If they are equal in recitation, then the one with the most knowledge of the Sunnah. If they are equal in the Sunnah, then the one who emigrated first. If they are equal in emigration, then the oldest. No man should lead another in his domain, and no one should sit in another's place of honor without his permission.'"
