أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ نا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَخْتَوَيْهِ نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مِلْحَانَ نا ابْنُ بُكَيْرٍ نا اللَّيْثُ حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلٌ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ عُمَرُ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَتَغَيَّظَ فِيهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِيُرَاجِعْهَا ثُمَّ لِيُمْسِكْهَا حَتَّى تَطْهُرَ ثُمَّ تَحِيضَ ثُمَّ تَطْهُرَ فَإِنْ بَدَا لَهُ أَنْ يُطَلِّقَهَا فَلْيُطَلِّقْهَا طَاهِرًا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَمَسَّهَا فَتِلْكَ الْعِدَّةُ كَمَا أَمَرَ اللهُ ﷻ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Salim ibn Abdullah narrated that Abdullah ibn Umar informed him that he divorced his wife while she was menstruating. Umar mentioned that to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) became angry about it. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Let him take her back, then keep her until she becomes pure, then menstruates, then becomes pure again. Then if he wishes to divorce her, let him divorce her while she is pure before having relations with her. That is the waiting period as Allah the Almighty commanded.'
