أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ أَبِي حَامِدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ قَالَا نا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَفَّانَ نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الطَّنَافِسِيُّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ طَلَّقْتُ امْرَأَتِي عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ عُمَرُ ؓ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مُرْهُ فَلْيُرَاجِعْهَا حَتَّى تَطْهُرَ ثُمَّ تَحِيضَ حَيْضَةً أُخْرَى فَإِذَا طَهُرَتْ فَلْيُطَلِّقْهَا إِنْ شَاءَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُجَامِعَهَا أَوْ يُمْسِكْهَا فَإِنَّهَا الْعِدَّةُ الَّتِي أَمَرَ اللهُ تَعَالَى أَنْ تُطَلَّقَ لَهَا النِّسَاءُ فَقُلْتُ لِنَافِعٍ مَا صَنَعَتِ التَّطْلِيقَةُ؟ قَالَ وَاحِدَةً اعْتَدَّتْ بِهَا
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibn Umar said: I divorced my wife during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) while she was menstruating. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) mentioned that to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), who said: 'Order him to take her back until she becomes pure, then menstruates another period, then when she becomes pure, he may divorce her if he wishes before having relations with her, or keep her. That is the waiting period that Allah the Almighty commanded for the divorce of women.' I said to Nafi': 'What did that divorce count as?' He said: 'One, which she counted as part of her waiting period.'
