أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو الْفَضْلِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْمُزَكِّي ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ثنا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً جَاءَتْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ جِئْتُ لِأَهَبَ لَكَ نَفْسِي فَنَظَرَ إِلَيْهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَصَعَّدَ النَّظَرَ إِلَيْهَا وَصَوَّبَهُ ثُمَّ طَأْطَأَ رَأْسَهُ فَلَمَّا رَأَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَقْضِ فِيهَا شَيْئًا جَلَسَتْ وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ أَخْرَجَاهُ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ قُتَيْبَةَ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Sahl ibn Sa'd narrated: "A woman came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I have come to offer myself to you.' The Messenger of Allah looked at her, raising his gaze and lowering it, then he lowered his head. When the woman saw that he had not made a decision about her, she sat down. A man from his companions said: 'O Messenger of Allah, if you have no need of her, marry her to me.'"
