إِنِّي لَا أَرَانِي إِلَّا مَقْتُولًا فِي أَوَّلِ مَنْ يُقْتَلُ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَإِنِّي وَاللهِ مَا أَدَعُ أَحَدًا بَعْدِي أَعَزَّ عَلَيَّ مِنْكَ بَعْدَ نَفْسِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَإِنَّ عَلَيَّ دَيْنًا فَاقْضِ عَنِّي دَيْنِي وَاسْتَوْصِ بِإِخْوَانِكَ خَيْرًا قَالَ فَأَصْبَحْنَا فَكَانَ أَوَّلَ قَتِيلٍ فَدَفَنْتُهُ مَعَ آخَرَ فِي قَبْرٍ ثُمَّ لَمْ تَطِبْ نَفْسِي أَنْ أَتْرُكَهُ مَعَ آخَرَ فِي قَبْرٍ فَاسْتَخْرَجْتُهُ بَعْدَ سِتَّةِ أَشْهُرٍ فَإِذَا هُوَ كَيَوْمِ وَضَعْتُهُ غَيْرَ أُذُنِهِ 12680 وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْخَلِيلُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبَسْتِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُظَفَّرِ الْبَكْرِيُّ أنا ابْنُ أَبِي خَيْثَمَةَ ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ خِدَاشٍ ثنا غَسَّانُ بْنُ مُضَرَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ فَذَكَرَهُ بِمَعْنَاهُ وَقَالَ فِي آخِرِهِ كَيَوْمِ دَفَنْتُهُ إِلَّا هُنَيَّةً عِنْدَ رَأْسِهِ البيهقي ١٢٦٧٩: عن
الترجمة الإنجليزية
'I think I will be among the first to be killed from the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). By Allah, I will not leave anyone after me dearer to me than you, after the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) himself. I have a debt, so pay my debt and treat my brothers well.' He said: 'The next morning, he was the first to be killed. I buried him with another in one grave. Then I was not satisfied to leave him with another in one grave, so I exhumed him after six months, and he was as fresh as the day I had placed him, except for his ear.' And Jabir ibn Abdullah narrated similarly and said at the end: 'As on the day I buried him, except for a small mark near his head.'
